about me

I have always had an admiration for the art world and all things creative, including photography, illustration and digital design. During my time as a freelance and in-house designer, I have enjoyed dedicating myself to building and creating my design portfolio. I have worked within agencies as Creative Lead and Art Director, overseeing and leading the studio departments, as well as delivering strong creative concepts and artwork objectives.

Specialising in brand identity and brand development, I look to work with clients to help them best showcase their businesses through storytelling with design; From complete brand creation including visual identity, to how your brand is interpreted through other design elements and across different platforms.

As well as working as a Freelance Designer, I am also a Sessional Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University running modules teaching the skills for employment within the design industry which look to encourage students to build their own brand and learn to respond to client briefs.

Recently, I have completed a Masters by Research, looking at design as a mediator for mental health – Investigating the role of graphic design as the facilitation of communication regarding mental health. With this project, I investigate how design can be used to record thoughts, feelings and data regarding mental health.
